Its just 2 to 3 months left before I can setup my dream CPU. Remember me talking about the ups and downs of a desktop and laptop because few months ago I am confused in what to buy. Now that I had the chance to re-assess my needs and wants and to feed my demand for high computing I ended up saving for a desktop computer. So what are we looking into when it comes to setting up your own CPU? I already have a list of what to buy without a professional’s help. I just wish that what I have in my list can withstand some serious applications and processes. Anyway, I found out that the motherboard I have on my list have an expandable of up to 16GB of computer memory. As for the budget, I’ll stick with 2GB for the time being. =)

Brand New Way Outdated http://loudandraw.com/archives/237 http://loudandraw.com/archives/237#comments Thu, 05 Feb 2009 17:14:33 +0000 http://loudandraw.com/?p=237 Share

I have decided to upgrade my pc ( unfortunately its just a minor upgrade). I am running a Single Core Pentium 4 ( and so out of date, what year is it now? ha ha!) but I have no complains from my desktop because somehow I knew most stuffs that can make a normal desktop to an average to good desktop. Anyways, since my old DDR RAM was only 512MB (ha-ha) I have decided to buy my poor PC a boost into a 1GB DDR400, my first choice was Kingston since it was the only available DDR400 nowadays but I my luck turned me down, the last stock was sold. Then, I looked for another DDR from other shops and i found Strontium, It says on its label that they are the #1 memory manufacturer and Singapore, quite frankly, it got me real quick (maybe because its buy or have nothing). The last stock again and lucky for me I have bought it. Whew!

I have installed it on my board and upon start up I saw the big difference in having a 512Mb of ram from 1GB (I know, I know, we all know that it is obvious). The first reason I bought one is because months later I will buy a good high-end desktop, my choices are from Intel, core 2 duo (45nm blah blah) core 2 quad and i7. I wonder how much money I can save to buy a good one.

My Grand Father’s Death Anniversary http://loudandraw.com/archives/93 http://loudandraw.com/archives/93#respond Mon, 04 Aug 2008 15:35:29 +0000 http://loudandraw.com/?p=93 Share

In honoring my grandfather’s first death anniversary, my family decided to prepare a lunch and a dinner gathering for our relatives this coming Wednesday, August 6, 2008. This way we will be able to share the memories of him that is still fresh in our hearts.

We are missing him so much especially my grandmother who is now busy preparing for the small get-together. My grandfather’s things are still kept untouched in our home and everytime I see his portable oxygen concentrator on the side of his bed, I cannot help but shed a tear and now we are putting that away in a safe place. We will be conducting a mass for him so we could all pray for his travel in the grace of God. Wherever you are.. Your memories will always stay in our hearts, forever.
